Was the last customer of the night and they were winding down but still cooked me half a chicken. It was smoky and juicy, although not much from the piri sauce going on. Also got the sides which were a tasty addition.

We attended a birthday dinner at this wonderful restaurant. Great choice of foods and wine. The restaurant provided live music for singing and dancing. I had the grilled fish and my wife had the chicken, and both were delicious. If you are in the area this is a must.

I love that this place is unassuming and does one thing really really well. The chicken was cooked to perfection over wood. Charred and blackened skin yielding to perfectly moist meat. A bowl of bread. An aperitif. A litre of mineral water. And they even threw in a dessert. 7 euros. Incredible value. I'll be back.

We had a delicious dinner last night with the fish prepared on a big fireplace. The meal was excellent and so inexpensive. We will definitely be back.

Very good price with set menu, good service very friendly. Should go early for more choice of food. We went at 19:30, they run out of some food. Red wine is good well with meat.

Had a lovely evening at this restaurant. I’d had the take away before which was amazing and such incredible value, we decided to eat here on our last night of our holiday. The family run restaurant is live nothing else, the place is low key and a bit tired. But it makes up for it in heart, the food is wonderful. We had the spare ribs, fish and meat skews as our mains and all were delicious. Do yourself a favour and experience a real Portuguese family run restaurant at least once while you’re on holiday

This is one of my favorite restaurants because the warmth of the welcome matches the excellence of the fresh grilled chicken, fish or meat. Generous helpings of food and wine served by the open hearth make this very affordable restaurant feel like home away from home .
